What We’ll Do
We’ll start at 2.00 pm with a welcome and introduction. We like to visit a range of different gardens, each as unique as the gardener who lives there. It’s wonderful to see the diverse garden styles, approaches and plants that can be grown in our bio-region.
So this month Adam and Juanita will show us their rural garden-farm at Linthorpe.
What We’ll See
A few words from Adam and Juanita about their garden …
Our farm is a generously sized, edge of chaos, work in progress which is the result of lots of observations and learning from our failures. There are large weedy open spaces in their infancy, not yet well established with plenty of room for improvement.
- a large vegetable garden part way through development
- a food forest in its establishment stage amongst existing iron bark trees
- an orchard integrated with a chook pen
- lots of compost being made
- a large assortment of chickens and quails
Everyone is welcome but bookings are essential to ensure we don’t exceed 50 people attending and so we have your details if contact tracing is required. Our aim is to keep everyone safe.
Please book your place at Eventbrite.
