6.45 pm – Learn – Plant Propagation
Presented by Kirsten Bradley
This month, Kirsten will be taking us through the basics of propagation. Now is a great time to increase your stock of plants, just before the spring growth spurt. Kirsten will be sharing her tips for propagation success, and taking us through the steps to grow new plants from cuttings, rhizomes, divisions and runners.
Kirsten is an enthusiastic ‘permie’, gardener and animal lover. She lives with her husband and son on a small farm in Crows Nest, a property they share with a slightly chaotic mix of pets and livestock. Kirsten’s on a constant quest to live well without destroying the planet. She loves practising skills that allow her to live with a smaller ecological footprint, including everything from seed saving to soap making.
8.00 pm – Connect – Light Supper and Share Table
A light supper will be served. Sharing of produce opens at 8.00pm to allow plenty of time for everyone to place their donations on the Share Table, and then give you the opportunity to browse, connect and make your selections during supper.
