6.15 pm – Connect – Doors Open

Please bring your surplus produce, plants, seeds, books, craft supplies, tools etc. to share with others on the Share Table. Place your donations on the table when you arrive, and then sharing will open at 7.45 pm after the LEARN session.

6.30 pm – Learn – Weeds

Presented by Tim Nash

In this workshop, Tim will talk to us about:

  • Weed identification
  • Weeds as indicators of soil health and conditions
  • Foraging for Weeds
  • Using Weeds in our Gardens and Homes

Tim is an environmental and soil scientist with experience providing technical advice for soil management and undertaking revegetation, site stabilisation, erosion and sediment control, soil survey, and natural resource management projects across a range of industries. A newcomer to permaculture, Tim is enjoying the challenge of working his specialist technical knowledge into his application of the ethics and principles of permaculture.

7.45 pm – Connect – Light Supper and Share Table

A light supper will be served (Gluten Free and Vegan options).

Sharing of produce opens after the presentation to allow plenty of time for everyone to place their donations on the Share Table, and then give you the opportunity to browse, connect and make your selections during supper.
