6.45 pm – Learn – Garden Wildlife
Presented by Peter Macqueen
This month, we’re excited to have Peter Macqueen join us to share his knowledge about Garden Wildlife. Many of our native wildlife species are struggling in the current dry climate conditions, so it’s important to know how we can make our gardens wildlife friendly by creating habitats and attracting biodiversity.
Peter has interests in all aspects of cultivating and conserving plants, with particular enthusiasm for local plants and invertebrates. He teaches horticulture at TAFE in Toowoomba and is involved in numerous groups including the Darling Downs Environment Council and the Toowoomba Field Naturalist Club.
8.00 pm – Connect – Light Supper and Share Table
A light supper will be served. Sharing of produce opens at 8.00pm to allow plenty of time for everyone to place their donations on the Share Table, and then give you the opportunity to browse, connect and make your selections during supper.
